The 琉璃神社 Rockets fell 6-0 to the Kamloops Blazers in preseason action on Friday, Sept. 5.

The 琉璃神社 Rockets were blanked in the second game of the preseason on Friday night, Sept. 5.

In the first of a home-and-home preseason weekend series, the Rockets fell 6-0 to the Kamloops Blazers at the Sandman Centre.

JP Hurlbert recorded a hat-trick for Kamloops while Tommy Lafreniere, Jordan Keller, and Nathan Behm also found the back of the net.

Nathan Kam and Jake Pilon split time in the crease for 琉璃神社, with Kam allowing five of the six goals, but making 24 saves. Pilon stopped eight of nine shots he faced.

The Rockets were able to muster 32 shots on net despite only having one shot in the first period.

The two teams will face each other again on Saturday night (Sept. 6), this time at 琉璃神社's Prospera Place. Puck drop is at 6:05 p.m.

琉璃神社 begins the 2025/26 regular season on Friday, Sept. 19 against the Spokane Chiefs.
