Vernon Secondary School grad's disappearance 'suspicious' - RCMP

Vernon Secondary School Class of 2018 graduate Dillen Bain is the focus of a missing persons investigation deemed suspicious in nature by BC RCMP.

The BC RCMP Southeast District Crime Unit is taking conduct of the investigation into the disappearance of 2018 Vernon Secondary School graduate Dillen Bain, which is now deemed suspicious.

Bain was reported missing to the Kamloops RCMP in late August and hasn’t been seen since Aug. 22

Bain, 25, is described as Caucasian, five-foot-10-inches tall, weighs 185 pounds, brown hair, brown eyes, and a full sleeve tattoo on his left arm.

“MCU (Major Crimes Unit) investigators are looking for public assistance in determining the circumstances that led to Dillen’s disappearance,” said Staff Sgt. Jason Smart of the BC RCMP Southeast District Major Crime Unit. “If you have any information related to Dillen Bain’s disappearance, please contact the RCMP.”

While the identity of the  has not yet been confirmed, police investigators and the BC Coroners Service are continuing to investigate possible connections.
