An air quality statement is in effect for most of B.C. due to wildfire smoke.
The Okanagan is at moderate risk with conditions expected to remain the same over the next 48 hours.
People are advised to limit their time outdoors.
Seniors, infants, pregnant people, young children, and anyone with underlying health conditions should reschedule outdoor activities when possible.
A thunderstorm watch has also been issued.
Environment Canada says conditions are favourable for strong winds, heavy rain, and possible hail.
