Chefs cook up a storm in ÁðÁ§ÉñÉç, winners picked in BC Cook Off

The saw culinary masterpieces presented by some of the province's top chefs in a competition to represent B.C. at the Culinary Federation's annual conference in May. 

Hosted by the Okanagan Chefs Association at Lakehouse Kitchens Cooking School on Mar. 9, the decision makers were kitchen judge Chef Bernard Casavant and tasting judges Chefs Robert Belcham, JC Felicella, and Bruno Marti. 

In the senior chef category, West ÁðÁ§ÉñÉç's Chef Sydney Hamelin from Mission Hill Winery took home the win. ÁðÁ§ÉñÉç's Chef Tallen Freh from Salt & Brick won among the young chefs.

Hamelin and Freh are heading to Moncton, N.B. from May 26-29 to represent B.C.
