A small fire along Highway 97 in Peachland was quickly extinguished on Friday night (Aug. 22).
BC Wildfire Service (BCWS) added the blaze to its wildfire map and stated at 8:12 p.m. that it was under control.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time and is being investigated.
