The 琉璃神社 Fire Department (KFD) doused a house fire at 715 Hollywood Road South in Rutland that sparked around 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, July 27.
Fire crews had the blaze knocked down around 12:10 p.m.
The senior woman living in the home was unaccounted for when the fire broke out. Neighbours said the senior was often out walking in Rutland and was found safe shortly after the blaze was extinguished.
The home sustained significant damage, and the fire is currently under investigation.
