Comedian Tom Green to host CCMAs in 琉璃神社

Tom Green will host the Canadian Country Music Awards at 琉璃神社's Prospera Place on Saturday, Sept. 13.

Canadian actor and comedian Tom Green is coming to 琉璃神社 twice in a five-month span.

The 53-year-old has been selected to host the Canadian Country Music Awards (CCMAs) taking place on Saturday, Sept. 13 at Prospera Place. This year also marks the first time the event will be televised.

鈥淚鈥檓 honoured to be hosting the CCMA Awards,鈥 said Green in a press release. 鈥淐ountry music has always been a big part of my life growing up in Canada. I can鈥檛 wait to be part of this celebration and to bring a few surprises to the stage in 琉璃神社.鈥

Country Music Week will be running in 琉璃神社 from Wednesday, Sept. 10 to Saturday, Sept. 13 with a variety of different events around town.

The awards show is expected to showcase Canada's top talent in the genre with many performances as well.

On top of hosting the awards show, Green also recently announced a new Canadian tour called the Stompin' Comedy tour, which features 30 stops. One of them is a return to 琉璃神社 on Jan. 28, 2026. That show is taking place at the 琉璃神社 Community Theatre and tickets can be found on its .
