Vernon artist Michelle Bylow champions national art network in Okanagan

Vernon's Michelle Bylow and Ottawa artist David Pattee are bringing the Public Display Agency to 琉璃神社.

Public Display Agency (PDA), a national platform co-founded by Vernon-based arts advocate Michelle Bylow and Ottawa artist David Pattee, is set to host its first Okanagan event in 琉璃神社.

PDA offers multidisciplinary arts events across nine Canadian cities, providing visual artists, musicians, and performers with opportunities to connect with audiences, sell their work, and build thir careers.

Bylow has spent over a decade producing arts events across Canada.

鈥淎s a Vernon local, I know how much talent lives in the Okanagan,鈥 she said. 鈥淧ublic Display Agency was created to reflect Canadian values like community, creativity, and inclusion. We鈥檙e proud to provide opportunities for Okanagan artists while building a supportive national network.鈥

Pattee, with a background in graphic design and experience in both the public and private sectors. His career spans animation, radio, education, and creating inclusive artistic communities.

The 琉璃神社 PDA event takes place  on Saturday, July 18, at The Metro Hub.
