The Okanagan has seen massive growth in the film industry in the last few years, and sometimes the productions can be scary and suspenseful.

Tents, screens, cameras and lights were spotted near the dolphin statue on Feb. 13. Film crews would not confirm which thriller flick was being shot or if any big names were in town for the production. An incomplete list of the current projects in production are available on Creative BC. The website states that a made-for-TV movie titles 13th Wife and a film called the The Forgotten Son are currently being shot in ÁðÁ§ÉñÉç.

Popular movies like Puppy Love,  F*** Marry Kill, and numerous Hallmark movies have been shot in the Okanagan region. In 2020 alone, the Okanagan Film Commission brought 92 productions to the Valley, representing 18 per cent of all film and television production in B.C.
