The incident on 琉璃神社 Mountain is related to another police presence in 琉璃神社鈥檚 Rutland neighbourhood.

The public is being asked to stay away from an unfolding police incident on 琉璃神社鈥檚 Gillard Creek Forest Service Road.

On March 1, at approximately 8:00 a.m., officers from the 琉璃神社 RCMP Detachment responded to an unspecified incident in the 5700 block of Gillard Creek Forest Service Road.

According to the 琉璃神社 RCMP, as of 10:45 a.m. the incident is still unfolding.

鈥淲e are asking for the public to stay away from the area as there are suspects outstanding,鈥� said Sergeant Judith Bertrand, Media Relation Officer.

A representative from , a business located on the Gillard FSR said the incident is unfolding past them, up in 琉璃神社 Mountain. The business has not been impacted by the incident but the representative did said he witnessed multiple RCMP vehicles driving in the area.

A Capital News reporter at the scene witnessed a tow truck removing a vehicle from the area with a police vehicle following.
