Fundraiser brings in $20K for Okanagan Forest Task Force

Drawing a raffle winner at the Okanagan Forest Task Force's third annual fundraiser on April 19, 2025.

Okanagan Forest Task Force's President Kane Blake took to to thank everyone involved in helping raise $20,000 at the volunteer organization's third annual fundraiser. 

Held on April 19 at Kal Tire in 琉璃神社, the fundraiser included a silent auction and raffle with prizes including clothing, camping gear, wine, art, gift certificates and more.

The Okanagan Forest Task Force is a volunteer group that works to keep the backcountry clean and has removed over 1.1 million pounds of garbage and metal from Okanagan forests since 2016.
