A senior cyclist involved in a collision with a truck has died in hospital from the injuries he suffered.
It is believed the 77-year-old cyclist was travelling northbound on Lambly Place and the driver of the truck was travelling eastbound on Highland Drive South when the crash took place. The driver remained at the scene.
The 琉璃神社 RCMP's Municipal Traffic and Criminal Crash Investigation teams are currently investigating the incident.

UPDATE 11:09 a.m.
The cyclist is in critical condition, according to BC Emergency Health Services (BCEHS).
"Paramedics provided emergency medical treatment to one patient who was transported to hospital," said BCEHS spokesperson Bowen Osoko.
BCEHS attended the scene with two ambulances with primary care paramedics, an advanced care paramedic response unit, supervisor and a link and referral unit.

A cyclist has been taken to hospital but his status is currently unknown after being struck by a pick-up truck on Thursday morning.
Around 8:30 a.m. on April 10, the male cyclist was struck at the intersection on Highland Drive South and Lambly Place.
The 琉璃神社 RCMP are investigating the scene. They ask anyone who witnessed the incident or has surveillance footage and hasn't spoke to the police yet to come forward by calling RCMP's non-emergency line at 250-762-3300 and reference file 202-18823.
