A pup on the loose for weeks near Westside Road has finally been captured.
A family started seeing the young dog running around about three weeks ago.
They tried to catch her and were finally successful recently.
鈥淎n absolutely amazing rescue after three weeks found running this young dog was brought to safety,鈥� said the Okanagan Humane Society (OHS), which had the female fixed and put in foster care to heal.
鈥淭here have been no valid inquiries yet from possible owners,鈥� OHS said.
The black and white dog was recovered safely on 6 Mile Creek Road, near Westside Road.
OHS said she is a bit timid, 鈥渂ut doing better by the day after her time on the run.鈥�
