Rain falls on Turtle Island Festival attendees in 琉璃神社

The festival was held on Leon Avenue from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

A little rain didn't stop the party on Leon Avenue outside the Ki-Low-Na Friendship Society on June 21.

The annual Turtle Island Festival in celebration of National Indigenous Peoples' Day saw people gather to dance, sing, eat, and celebrate Indigenous culture in downtown 琉璃神社.

The day included vendors, live entertainment, kid's activities, and a mini powwow.

Festivities ran from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
