Vernon bowlers bag B.C. bronze

Lincoln Lanes bowlers Ryker Schnyder and Blake Thibault made the podium at the Youth Doubles Provincial Finals in Salmon Arm.

The duo, coached by Jamie Schnyder, finished third in the Bantam Division (8-10-years-old), bowling 173 pins over their combined average to win bronze medals.

Teams from Vernon, 100 Mile House, Port Coquitlam, Surrey, and Castlegar competed in the the four-game, pins over average tournament.

Fellow Lincoln bowlers Trentyn Birmingham and Ian Klingmann were seventh in the division with an impressive 159 pins over their average. The pair is coached by Tia Birmingham.

Gold-medal winners were from 100 Mile House, finishing 321 pins over their average.
