Rockets drop Ice for 10th straight win at home

The 琉璃神社 Rockets celebrated Kole Lind鈥檚 return to the lineup and the Teddy Bear Toss with a over Kootenay Ice in WHL action Saturday at Prospera Place.

Lind, after missing seven games with a bout of mononucelosis, scored his 12th goal of the season and added an assist en route to the Rockets (17-8-2-1) fifth consecutive win.

Connor Bruggen-Cate opened the scoring 12 minutes into the game, prompting the shower of stuffed animals from the stands for the annual charity event.

Nolan Foote, Braydyn Chizen and James Hilsendager also scored for 琉璃神社.

Kyle Topping and Dillon Dube each had a pair of assists.

Rookie netminder Roman Basran stoppee 24 shots for his second win of the season.

The Rockets open a six-game Prairie road trip next Friday, Dec. 8 in Regina against the Pats.
