Tristan Petersen appears bound for a return to Penticton.

The Vees selected the Danish forward in the third round (123rd overall) in the Canadian Hockey League (CHL) Import Draft on July 2.

Petersen spent parts of the 2024-2025 BCHL campaign with Penticton, posting nine points in 17 games. He added seven points in 14 playoff contests.

The 6'4", 192-pound forward also suited up for Denmark at the 2025 World Junior Hockey Championship in Ottawa.

Petersen signed with the Vees in January after spending time in the Swedish-based J20 Nationell league.

He turns 19 years old on July 3.

鈥淲e were confident we could get Tristan with our third-round pick," said Fred Harbinson, the Vees' head coach, general manager and president. "'Petey鈥 is a player our fans enjoyed watching last season. His relentless play on the forecheck and versatility will be valuable this year.鈥

Also in Wednesday's draft, the Vees picked up Jiri Kamas from Czechia (62nd overall) and Roberts Naudins from Latvia (98th overall).
