A golf tournament to raise money for individuals struggling with addiction is set to tee off in 琉璃神社.
The Adult and Teen Challenge (ATC) fundraiser will be held at Sunset Ranch Golf and Country Club on Monday, Sept. 8.
“This is a great way for our community to show that we care about people who struggle with life-controlling issues and we want to see change,” said ATC regional director of development Grace Absolom.
Tournament sponsors include Kelco Ltd, Traine Foundation, Heartwood Homes, and Harley-Davidson 琉璃神社.
Registration is still open, along with fundraising opportunities, as ATC looks to reach its goal of $50,000. The top fundraising prize is a B.C. sportsfishing fins and skins package for four.
ATC is a non-profit organization that offers faith-based programs for individuals struggling with addiction. Every dollar raised will go towards the Okanagan Men’s Centre, which provides a safe and loving home for men struggling with addiction and life-gripping issues.
Registration check-in begins at 11 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 8. More information is available at
