Four teams from the host association earned some shiny hardware at the 27th edition of ÁðÁ§ÉñÉç’s Sweetheart Ringette Tournament.
The ÁðÁ§ÉñÉç Elite captured the gold medal in the U16A division.
The ÁðÁ§ÉñÉç Adrenaline won the silver medal in the U16B division, while the ÁðÁ§ÉñÉç Heat U19A and ÁðÁ§ÉñÉç Rage U14A earned bronze medals in their respective divisions.
One of the largest events of its kind in Western Canada, the three-day event last weekend—hosted by the ÁðÁ§ÉñÉç Ringette Assocation—featured 87 teams and close to 1,300 players in seven competing age groups.
Despite unfavourable weather and the closure of the Coquihalla on Thursday, only three teams were unable to attend the tournament.
Games were played at arenas ÁðÁ§ÉñÉç, West ÁðÁ§ÉñÉç and Lake Country, with the finals being contested on Sunday.
