According to NHL Central Scouting, three 琉璃神社 Rockets and one West 琉璃神社 Warrior could have their names called during the 2025 NHL Entry Draft at the end of June.
On Tuesday morning (April 15), Central Scouting released its final North American and International rankings, which evaluate the top draft-eligible hockey players worldwide.
The final rankings for North American skaters included three 琉璃神社 Rockets: Hayden Paupanekis (39th), Will Sharpe (76th), and Dawson Gerwing (99th). On the North American goaltenders list, Warriors' Bor Galvic ranked 22nd.
All three Rockets players were trade deadline acquisitions in early January. Paupanekis came to 琉璃神社 in a deal that sent Andrew Cristall to Spokane, while Shapre came over from Lethbridge in a deal centred around defenceman Caden Price. Gerwing was acquired from Swift Current.
In 32 games with the Rockets, Paupanekis scored 11 goals and added eight assists. On the season, he played in 71 games, scoring 22 goals and adding 21 helpers.
Defenceman Will Sharpe played 66 games on the season, scoring nine goals and adding 35 assists. Thirty-one of those 66 games came with the Rockets, in which the Ladner, B.C., native potted six goals and added 10 assists.
Gerwing's offense saw an uptick after the trade, as he found the back of the net nine times and added nine assists in 31 games for the Rockets after collecting just 10 points in 27 games to start the year with Swift Current.
The only West 琉璃神社 Warrior to make the list this time around, Glavic appeared in 16 games, going 8-6-0-0 with a 2.85 goals against average and a .895 save percentage.
On the mid-season rankings, five Rockets and no Warriors were listed. Defenceman Nate Corbet and goaltender Jake Pilon fell off the list in the second half of the season.
The 2025 NHL Entry Draft takes place in Los Angeles, California on June 27-28.
