Wildfire burning north of Revelstoke

The suspected cause of the fire is lightning

A small blaze was discovered June 18 north of Revelstoke. 

The wildfire is an estimated .009 hectares in size and in the Copeland Creek area. 

According to BC Wildfire, the suspected cause of the fire is lightning. 

There are currently no area restrictions or evacuations associated with this fire, however, it is burning out of control.
