Police renew call for help in locating Salmon Arm man missing since April 2002

Police have issued a renewed call for help in the search for Salmon Arm man Raymond Kohout who was last seen riding his bike on Highway 1 between Salmon Arm and Canoe on April 29, 2002.

Police have reissued a call for help in locating a Salmon Arm man missing since April 29, 2002.

Raymond "Ray" Wayne Kohout, a nurse, husband and father of three, was last seen at approximately 4:30 p.m. riding a blue mountain bike on the Trans-Canada Highway between Salmon Arm and Canoe. On September 11, 2002, Kohout's bike was recovered between Salmon Arm and Sicamous and has not been seen or heard from since.

Born in 1960, Kohout is described as 5-foot-4, 150 lbs (68kg), with black hair and brown eyes. 

When last seen, Kohout was wearing a white T-shirt underneath a dark blue hooded sweatshirt with "Selkirk College" on the front, blue jeans and white athletic shoes. He also had on a gold wedding band and a watch. 

Anyone with information on this case, is asked to contact the Salmon Arm RCMP at 250-832-6044 and reference case number 2002-2259.
