Friends and family of Cassy Miller are in mourning this weekend upon learning of her death.
鈥淎s a result of the investigation to date, RCMP do not believe that criminality was involved in (Miller鈥檚) death,鈥 said Cpl. Jesse O鈥橠onaghey. 鈥淎s such, the BC Coroners Service have now taken the lead on the investigation into (Miller鈥檚) sudden death.鈥
On Nov. 16 around 9 p.m. 琉璃神社 RCMP were following up on an active person鈥檚 investigation when they located Miller鈥檚 body in Rutland. 琉璃神社 RCMP are now working alongside BC Coroners Service
Miller, 28, was last seen Nov. 6 and was reported as missing on Nov. 9.

Family and friends put posters up over the downtown area asking for anyone with information about Miller鈥檚 whereabouts to contact them.
Her friend, Ashleigh Blanke who took the calls described Miller as a caring mother who had many people who loved her.
In death, she鈥檚 been the subject of countless online tributes, where she is described as a 鈥渂eautiful soul鈥 who treated people with kindness and was quick to have a laugh.
琉璃神社 RCMP both in uniform and plain clothes along with the detachment鈥檚 Missing Person Co-ordinator followed up on many tips from the public about possible sightings.
