Visitors and residents alike are unimpressed with 琉璃神社鈥檚 increasing gas prices.

Gas prices in 琉璃神社 have skyrocketed to 136.9 per litre. Last week, the prices were sitting roughly at 128.

The Capital News asked people for their thoughts on the prices as they filled up their vehicles Tuesday.

One woman who was visiting from Winnipeg, said she was surprised by the number.

鈥淐ompared to Winnipeg, it鈥檚 extremely high. It鈥檚 116 or so at home,鈥� said Kim Spence.

鈥�139 a litre, it鈥檚 a little ridiculous,鈥� said Martin Serek. 鈥淚 was very surprised, my Shadow usually takes a lot of gas.鈥�

鈥淚t鈥檚 stupid, people are working hard to afford that, you know?鈥� said William Teichroeb, adding he was visiting the area and didn鈥檛 expect the gas price to be this high.

Brad Grills said he was concerned about gas prices because he owns a truck that runs back and forth from 琉璃神社 to Calgary.

鈥淰ancouver is like a buck 50,鈥� he said.

He drives an electric scooter to save money.
