A response to a report of a suspicious vehicle has resulted in potential property crime related charges against two men and two women early Wednesday evening in 琉璃神社鈥檚 downtown core.

On Feb. 1 at 4:42 pm, the 琉璃神社 RCMP received a report of a suspicious vehicle seen parked in front of a business in the 1600 block of Water Street. An officer with the 琉璃神社 RCMP Downtown Enforcement Unit (DEU) was first to locate the vehicle. The officer subsequently conducted a database query of the licence plate attached to the suspicious vehicle and learned that the plate had been reported as stolen to the RCMP in 琉璃神社 on Jan. 25.

Several persons were ordered from inside vehicle and taken into police custody without incident. Incidental to their arrest officers seized cans of bear spray, a collapsible baton, suspected cocaine, several flaps of suspected methamphetamine and various items consistent with illegal drug use and trafficking.

Further investigation has revealed that the black 2006 Ford F-150 pickup truck had allegedly been stolen from the North Okanagan area.

A 28-year-old North Okanagan man, a 26-year-old 琉璃神社 woman and a 20-year-old West 琉璃神社 woman each faces potential charges. They were later released from police custody and are expected to appear in Court on a later date.

A 26-year-old Prince George man, also faces potential property and breach related charges. Additionally, the man was the subject of several outstanding warrants for his arrest in BC. He was held in police custody and appeared in Court today.
