The Chase RCMP is trying to bring back the braaap after a snowmobile was stolen in a break-and-enter.
On June 12, the police got a report of a break in at a property on Loakin Bear Creek Road in Chase where several thousands of dollars in tools and machinery were stolen from an outbuilding.
"A number of stolen items were later recovered from a small encampment near Holding Road," Const. Sarah Van Wilgenburg said in a media release. "However, a 2022 Skidoo 850 Turbo remains outstanding."
The sled is described as grey and black with a reddish-orange seat and rails. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Chase RCMP at 250-679-3221 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
