An altercation involving a gathering of people resulted in a man getting stabbed outside a downtown 琉璃神社 eating establishment on the weekend.

琉璃神社 RCMP say a fight broke out early Sunday morning at 1:37 a.m., outside the Sub City Donair shop, 469 Bernard Ave.

Police responded to the scene where they discovered a 22-year-old Alberta man had suffered multiple stab wounds and had to be taken to 琉璃神社 General Hospital for treatment. Police said the injuries were considered non life threatening.

Police are still looking for a suspect, stating that a number of people were involved or surrounding the scene of the altercation.
