ÁðÁ§ÉñÉç lacrosse team vying for provincial gold

ÁðÁ§ÉñÉç Senior Raiders Lacrosse.

The ÁðÁ§ÉñÉç Senior Raiders lacrosse team is competing for gold at the BC Senior C Provincial Championships. 

Hosted in Memorial Arena in ÁðÁ§ÉñÉç from Aug. 8 to 11, the home team kicked off the tournament with a victory over the team from Mission, 15-4. 

The following evening the Raiders battled Ladner, cleaning up with a 12-5 win. 

In their final game of the round robin, the Raiders defeated Maple Ridge to finish undefeated heading into the knockout rounds.

In the semifinals against Port Moody, ÁðÁ§ÉñÉç was able to win, setting up a blockbuster championship match, which will take place at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 11.
