UPDATE: 10:10 a.m.
At about 7 a.m. June 21, a body was discovered on the shores of Okanagan Lake in Waterfront Park,
鈥溋鹆裆� Central Okanagan RCMP and the BC Coroner Service are working together to identity the female and to determine the cause of death,鈥� said Sgt. Laura Pollock, Media Relations Officer.
No further information will be released at this time as it is an active investigation. Updates will be provided when available.
A woman鈥檚 body has been found in Waterfront Park, downtown 琉璃神社.
RCMP are currently on scene investigating.
Police will be holding a media press conference regarding the death later this morning.
