Several properties on Beach and Lake Avenues in Peachland will have their water service disrupted on May 20.

Water will be shut off between 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. while a repair of a waterline leak is completed.

• 4264 Beach Ave.
• 4264(2) Beach Ave.
• 4274 Beach Ave.
• 4284 Beach Ave.
• 4294 Beach Ave.
• 4294(2) Beach Ave.
• 4204 Lake Ave.
• 4224 Lake Ave.
• 4234 Lake Ave.
• 4244 Lake Ave.
• 4254 Lake Ave.
• 4264 Lake Ave.
• 4274 Lake Ave.
• 4274(2) Lake Ave.
• 4284 Lake Ave.
• 4294 Lake Ave.
• 4310 12th St. 

Once water service is restored, properties may experience air, discoloured water or sediment in service lines. Property owners are advised to run cold taps until conditions improve.
 
A precautionary Boil Water Notice will be in place beginning May 20 and remain in effect until two consecutive negative bacteriological samples are achieved. 

During this time, bring water to a rolling boil for at least one minute prior to using for drinking, making ice, cooking, washing food or brushing teeth. When testing results indicate the system is working appropriately, the boil water notice will be lifted.
