Lake Country's Oceola Fish and Game Club shooting ranges are closed following an RCMP inspection.

Club President Bart Roberston , Aug. 18, stating all shooting at the upper range property must cease immediately.

"In conversation with the RCMP [on Aug. 18], they are very keen to see us shooting again soon," the club commented on its original post. "We just need to ensure it is done safely. In a volunteer organization, turnover of governing personnel is continual and information from past inspections has been lost in translation. This will be a good reset."

The board of directors is in meetings to address the issue and will notify members through social media when the ranges are safe for operation.
