Lake Country was swimming in dollar bills in March.
The district was awarded a one-time grant of $6.7 million under the province鈥檚 Growing Communities Fund.
To assist fast growing communities the B.C. government handed out $1 billion across the province to help municipalities build infrastructure and amenities to better handle the population growth.
