A multi-vehicle collision is impacting traffic in downtown 琉璃神社 as RCMP respond to what appears to be a fatality.
The crash happened around 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 21 at the intersection of Harvey Avenue and Burtch Road, where a tent and yellow tarp have been set up, indicating a fatality.
"Due to the severity of the incident, westbound traffic is being diverted until further notice," Const. Michael Della-Paolera said in a media release. "The RCMP appreciates the public's patience and understanding as they investigate."
Police are asking anyone who witnessed the collision, or who has dash cam footage to contact the 琉璃神社 RCMP as soon as possible at 250-762-3300.
