琉璃神社 RCMP say no arrests have been made and the incident remains under investigation.

The release did not state if anyone was found in the home.
Update: 11:28 a.m.
The RCMP Emergency Response Team has packed up and left the 600-block of Ziprick Road. Several RCMP officers remain on the scene. It's unknown if anyone was in the home that police were concentrating on for most of the morning.
Fire crews arrived at the scene just before 11:30 a.m. likely to clear the home of smoke deployed by RCMP earlier. Ziprick Road has been reopened and the 'secure and hold' has been rescinded for Springvalley Elementary and Middle Schools.

Members of the RCMP Emergency Response Team have entered the home.
Update: 10:30 a.m.
Onlookers and media at the scene have been cautioned to stay back by police in case of possible gun fire. It has not been confirmed if there are weapons in the home.

RMCP have deployed smoke at the home in an effort to force whoever may be inside to exit the property. A drone has been sent back into the house as well. Nearby Springvalley Elementary and Middle School remain on 'secure and hold.'

Emergency Response Team members have deployed smoke grenades and four projectiles (possibly rubber bullets) at the home.

RCMP is telling whoever is in a home in the 600-block of Ziprick Road to exit the house. An officer was heard on a loudspeaker saying 鈥淵ou are under arrest, come out the front door with your hands up, nothing in your hands.鈥 A robot and the K-9 Unit have been deployed to assist with the situation.

琉璃神社 RCMP are investigating what they are calling an unfolding incident believed to be isolated to a single residence in the 600-block of Ziprick Road.
The incident began just after 8 a.m. on Wedesday, April 16. The Emergency Response Team is on scene.
"Out of an abundance of caution, residents and bystanders in the surrounding area are being asked to stay away or remain inside until such a time that the matter is resolved," Cpl Michael Gauthier said in a media release.
Central Okanagan Public Schools have confirmed to Black Press Media that Springvalley Elementary and Middle Schools have been placed under a 'secure and hold' until the incident is resolved.
Ziprick Rd. is closed between Collison and Cornwall roads. Gauthier added at the situation will be updated as necessary.
