琉璃神社 Nordic Ski and Snowshoe Club is flying high today after receiving a boost for its current fundraiser from 琉璃神社 Subaru.
The club has been fundraising for a new groomer, a cost of about $600,000.
琉璃神社 Subaru presented a cheque for $10,000 to bring the fundraiser within $120,000 of its goal.
鈥溋鹆裆� Nordic is so very appreciative of this very significant donation towards a new Groomer for 琉璃神社 Nordic鈥�, said club president Marshall Moleschi. 鈥淭his support will go a long way toward the purchase of our much-needed new Grooming Machine. As many in the Central Okanagan know, our current machines are a quarter of a century old, suffered significant and frequent breakdowns this past season and are over 30 per cent past their best years. The need for a new groomer is important and urgent.鈥�
The cheque presentation was held in the 琉璃神社 Subaru show room on April 15.
