ÁðÁ§ÉñÉç Fire Department busy calls over just a few minutes Friday

ÁðÁ§ÉñÉç Fire Department dealt with three vehicle incidents and report of 'smoke and flames'

The ÁðÁ§ÉñÉç Fire Department responded to several calls within a few minutes of each other on Friday (Apr. 25) morning.

It started just before 11:30 a.m. calls came in about "visible smoke and flame" along Dry Valley Road. Crew arrived to discover a slash-pile burn. 

Shortly after that call, crews dealt with a vehicle incident near the Tim Horton's on Highway 97 ad Leckie Road. One person was taken to hospital. RCMP was also on scene.

A few minutes later, the fire department was called to a fender-bender at Benvoulin and Springfield roads. It's unclear if anyone was injured. Shortly after that, crews responded to a two vehicle crash at Spall Road and Enterprise Way.

Fire crews were then called to a possible grass fire on Morisson Road in Rutland a few minutes after that call. I turned out to be a burn pile.

Today is a permitted open burning day as per the .
