琉璃神社 RCMP say an incident at a Glenmore Road home on Friday, Aug. 22, involved two people who know each other.

"There was an altercation between occupants of a residence who were known to each other," Cpl. Allison Konsmo, media relations officer, said in a statement. "This was an isolated incident with no risk to the public. The investigation is ongoing, and no further information will be provided to protect the integrity of the investigation."

Several officers and police vehicles descended on the Glenmore Rd. and Summit Drive area, with guns drawn, just before 8 p.m. on Aug. 22.

Residents were told to stay indoors while police dealt with the situation, and Glenmore Rd. was briefly shut down to traffic.

No one was injured during the incident.
