UPDATE: Harvey Avenue reopens in 琉璃神社 after crash flips car onto side

The crash happened just after 6:30 p.m.

The northbound lanes of Harvey Avenue reopened around 9:30 p.m. on Thursday night.

The northbound lanes of Harvey Avenue in 琉璃神社 will be closed for a couple hours on Thursday night (April 17) as a result of a multi-vehicle crash.

At least two vehicles were involved in the crash that occurred at Harvey Avenue and Burtch Road around 6:30 p.m. One of the vehicles was flipped onto its side.

It's unknown if anyone was injured as a result of the crash. 琉璃神社 RCMP, fire crews, and emergency services are all at the scene.

DriveBC states an assessment is in progress, with their next update coming at 9:30 p.m.

Additionally, drivers cannot travel straight through the intersection of Harvey and Burtch. Travelling south, drivers must turn left or right onto Harvey Avenue, while travelling north in Burtch, drivers are being directing to turn right into Harvey.
