The Placer Creek Fire south of Princeton remains out of control.
The blaze, believed to be human-caused, sparked July 12 and has reached 3,109 hectares.
Weather was favourable on Saturday, July 19, keeping fire activity to rank two and three.
Sunday's forecast is cooler temperatures in the low to mid 20s and light wind. BC Wildfire Service is anticipating decreased fire activity with current conditions and the possibility of rain with thunderstorms anticipated.
Crews continue to fight the fire on the ground with heavy equipment and by air with helicopters.
