Sing your heart out, help a team in Dancing With The Vernon Stars.
The Hotsteppers will host karaoke at The Winston Pub (formerly Sir Winston's) Saturday, Sept. 6. Karaoke starts at 7 p.m.
"Hosted by the amazine René Giesson from City Cowboy Karaoke, it's your chance to take the mic, or just sit back, cheer, and enjoy a burger and beer with a portion of the sales going to support the North Okanagan Hospice Society," said Thomas James (Jamie) Hickey of The Hotsteppers.
The burger, beer, and food specials will be going all day at the pub.
"No tickets needed — just show up, sing your heart out, and help support compassionate care in our community," said Hickey.
Karaoke is sponsored by TJH Insurance, The Winston, and City Cowboy Karaoke.
Donations will be accepted during the event. There will be a QR code where you can get a tax receipt.
North Okanagan Hospice Society's biggest fundraiser is Dancing With the Vernon Stars, set for Saturday, Oct. 18, at the Prestige Vernon Lodge and Conference Centre.
