The first show will take place at Venables Theatre in Oliver on April 6.
On May 3, the show will be at the Vernon and District Perfoming Arts Center.
On June 13, it will be at the Mary Irwin Theatre in 琉璃神社, and it is set to finish off the spring tour on June 15 at Penticton's Cleland Theatre.
The Lightfoot Tribute Show has been celebrated for its authenticity and emotional depth, drawing comparisons to Lightfoot鈥檚 original performances.
Steffan Clements, son of the late Terry Clements, who was Lightfoot鈥檚 lead guitarist for over four decades said, 鈥淗e just sang 鈥業f You Could Read My Mind鈥 better than anybody I鈥檝e ever heard, he sounded just like him.鈥
Clements鈥 father joined the Lightfoot band as lead guitarist in 1970 and remained with the band until his passing in 2011, playing a pivotal role in shaping the sound of Lightfoot鈥檚 music.
For the die-hard Lightfoot fan, Byrne, spotting a recently-grown moustache, channels 鈥淕ordie鈥 not only in tone but presence.
Joining Byrne on stage are Ray Roper on lead guitar and keyboards, Roy Kawano on bass, Ray Lee on drums, and Ian Stewart on pedal steel guitar. The five-piece ensemble captures the same spirit and musicality that defined Lightfoot鈥檚 distinctive sound, blending folk, country and rock elements into a resonant performance.
