Mission pop star Carly Rae Jepsen is set to showcase her songwriting chops on Broadway.
The Juno-winner is teaming up with Lena Dunham for a musical adaptation of the 1999 film, 10 Things I Hate About You.
Jepsen shared the news on Instagram Wednesday (April 23).
"I can tell you 10 things I鈥檓 excited about right now or just skip to number one which is working on this dream project with this dream team," Jepsen wrote in the post.
Jepsen will co-write the music and lyrics for the production with former collaborator Ethan Gruska.
Dunham and Jessica Huang will write the book for the adaptation, while the production will be arranged and orchestrated by Tom Kitt, and directed and choreographed by Christopher Wheeldon.
10 Things I Hate About You starred Julia Stiles, Heath Ledger and Joseph Gordon-Levitt and modernized Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew.
Jepsen previously performed on Broadway in Cinderella in 2014.
