Vernon's Polson Park will be filled with doctors on the move Thursday, May 15.

The third annual Walk With Your Doc is a free community event bringing together health care professionals and community members to celebrate and promote the overall importance of daily physical activity.

"It鈥檚 a meaningful way to connect with patients and colleagues while advocating for a more active, healthier lifestyle," said co-organizer Amanda Pinsonneault. "We鈥檙e especially pleased to welcome several new physicians from Main Street Medical Clinic; Dr. Sharma, Dr. Screen, Dr. Gorea, and Dr. Barrett, who will be joining the walk this year to support the cause."

The walk is a great opportunity to take a mid-day break, soak up sunshine and connect with doctors and other health care professionals in the community. 

The event begins at noon on Thursday, May 15 and is sponsored by Doctors of B.C. and the Physiotherapy Association of B.C. No pre-registration is required.
