Couples from around the Okanagan enjoyed two special wine trail events this past weekend.

Lovebirds flocked to West 琉璃神社 for the eight annual 鈥淪ip with Your Sweetheart鈥� event, in celebration of Valentine鈥檚 Day.

The event actually span across two days, Saturday and Sunday, and included more than 10 participating wineries.

Participating wineries treated guests to a complimentary wine and chocolate tasting during the weekend, put together by local chefs, bakers and sommeliers.

In Lake Country, romantic duos took in the Scenic Sip Route, over the weekend, where they could indulge at seven participating wineries.

Guests were able to experience gourmet cheese, decadent chocolate and other delicious wine paired delights.

In lieu of tasting fees, donations were collected to benefit the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
