Sunny conditions shined on hundreds of 琉璃神社 residents for the 琉璃神社 Pride March on Saturday, May 31.
For the first time ever, 琉璃神社 is celebrating Pride for the whole month after it's been just a week-long celebration in the past.
After an opening event, 琉璃神社's Next Drag Superstar finale took place at Red Bird Brewing on Friday night, the annual march and festival filled Stuart and City Park on Saturday.
Freida Whales & Kayla the Contortionist provided some pre-march entertainment before opening remarks from community leaders and activists took place, including a speech from newly elected 琉璃神社 MP Stephen Fuhr.
Once speeches finished, the annual march started at Stuart Park and went along the waterfront, leading right into the festival at City Park.
At the festival, there was live music, drag performances, food trucks, artisan vendors, and family-friendly activities.
琉璃神社 Pride Month, as recognized by the City of 琉璃神社, is May 30-June 30.
