Have a talent to show off? Penticton looking for buskers

There are six designated busking locations in downtown Penticton

"Street-style" talent is coming back to downtown Penticton.

The city is accepting applications for its buskers program, which runs from May 15 to Oct. 15.

Busking activities include playing an instrument or performing a dance. Mime acts, clowning, juggling, puppetry, comedy, or magic are other busking activities.

Performances would take place between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. at the following designated locations in Penticton:

• 1099 Lakeshore Dr. West (at S.S. Sicamous)

• Lakeshore Drive at Power Street

• Lakeshore Drive at Winnipeg Street

• Main Street at Lakeshore Drive

• Nanaimo Avenue at Main Street

• 300 Block Main St.
