The Wings stuffed bear apparently likes to party.
The large stuffed animal that greets customers at the Vernon north-end restaurant had a bit of an unplanned adventure Saturday, June 13, when he was removed from the premises without permission.
However, the bear was returned 鈥� unharmed 鈥� and with a note.
鈥淪orry!鈥� said the six-line note on a ripped piece of looseleaf paper. 鈥淕ot a little carried away and so did the bear. LOL
鈥淗e is unharmed and said he had a good time.鈥�
The bear鈥檚 escort(s) is not known at this time.
Wings owner Sherman Dahl said the restaurant is grateful for the bear鈥檚 safe return.
鈥淭his is kind of funny and heartwarming,鈥� said Dahl. 鈥淭here is goodness out there.鈥�
